Condition
Dimensions variable depending on installation. Overall dimensions are approximately 144 x 130 x 50 inches.Work is very fragile. Paper is toned throughout, including some spots of soiling, lightening and discoloration. Rips, tears and holes throughout, of varying degrees - for example, on figure's left shoulder and along right upper arm. Intestine also shows wear at folds with some minor soiling. Work has been repaired in 1993 and again in 2006- a tear at the front top loop was mended with methyl cellulose and additional Kaga Gampi Japanese paper was attached inside the loop to reinforce when hanging object (as per consultation with Kiki Smith).
